Pronti a vivere un evento senza confini? L’Ismar (International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality) è l’appuntamento di maggior importanza per quanto riguarda Mixed e Augmented Reality (MR e AR). Quest’anno si terrà in Corea, a Seoul (presso il COEX Art Center) dal 13 al 16 ottobre.
Con questa del 2010 si è arrivati alla nona edizione di un evento molto interessante a livello mondiale. Quest’anno partono anche due contest ed il portale delle iniziative in AR:
Marker Design Contest: per sostituire i soliti marker in bianco e nero. Spazio all’immaginazione ed alla creatività per colori, forme, mezzi, ecc.
Video Contest: concorso per mostrare le proprie abilità con i video, in due categorie.
1) Concept: video design sulle potenzialità della realtà aumentata nella vita professionale o di tutti i giorni. Il tema è quello dell’Ismar 2010: senza confini.
2) Applicazioni: un prototipo sviluppato, una campagna per un prodotto o un prodotto commerciale che soddisfa una specifica necessità. Il video deve mostrare cosa l’applicazione può fare, i feedback delle persone, i possibili sviluppi futuri.
AR AMH Portal: Vista la portata innovativa del settore, durante l’evento l’Arts Media and Humanities Program inizierà a raccogliere informazioni su opere, demo, progetti e persone per creare un portale di conoscenza condivisa sulla realtà aumentata accessibile da tutti.
